i1 Director’s Note

Welcome!

I was working with a group of parents in my role as Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Coach when a parent approached me. He wondered, “Is there a wrong way to do this work?” He explained that at his company there had been several DEI initiatives, and, for him, nothing seemed as meaningful or impactful as the the time we had spent together.

In the back of my mind was the thought that our method of running a meeting, particularly equity focused DEI work, had potential benefits beyond the halls of Education. This parent turned my thought into the spark that started Inspiration 1 Limited Company (i1).

As Director of i1, I am passionately committed to equitable practices and a human centered approach focused on the user experience. I’m sure you will find our brand of facilitation and education both effective and productive.
